Install on Apple Silicon Mac.
These instructions are for existing customers using an earlier OMR-branded macOS beta installer; current WorkoutStudio Pro product and availability information is maintained on HexGigs. The historical beta is distributed directly by OMRGlobalTech and uses the same Pro license as Windows. It is ad-hoc signed but not Apple-notarized, so macOS may require a one-time manual approval before the first launch.
1. Copy WorkoutStudio to Applications
- Open the downloaded OMRWorkoutStudioPro-macOS-arm64-Beta.dmg.
- Drag OMR WorkoutStudio Pro into the Applications shortcut.
- Open Applications and try to launch OMR WorkoutStudio Pro.
2. If macOS blocks the app
- Close the blocked-app message.
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Scroll to the Security section.
- Find the message that WorkoutStudio Pro was blocked and click Open Anyway.
- Authenticate with your Mac password or Touch ID if requested, then confirm Open.
3. Activate Pro
Enter the OMR WorkoutStudio Pro license key issued after your OMRGlobalTech purchase. The same license works with the supported Windows and macOS builds, subject to the activation-seat limit.
Internet access is required for first-time activation and periodic license validation.
Why does macOS show this warning?
This beta is distributed directly by OMRGlobalTech without an Apple Developer Program subscription. It is therefore not notarized by Apple. The one-time Open Anyway approval tells macOS that you trust this copy.
Only install WorkoutStudio Pro from an OMRGlobalTech-controlled download. You do not need to disable Gatekeeper globally or run Terminal commands to bypass macOS security.
A newly downloaded beta version may require the approval again.
